Northern Region Healthy Minds Workshop
Fonterra Communications. 11 March 2021 12:22 AMDo you look after yourself like you look after your car?
Every person that owns a car, gets it serviced regularly. We do this to make sure it continues to run, and we don’t end up broken down on the side of the road calling for emergency roadside assist.
So why aren’t we doing the same with our mental health?
As a community, we need to have genuine conversations around mental wellness, and prioritise our mental health just like we do physical health.
That’s why we’ve partnered with Wayne Schwass from PukaUp and Black Dog Institute to help facilitate a conversation around this in northern Victoria.
No doubt you’ll be familiar with AFL premiership star, Wayne Schwass – but did you know he is also one of Australia’s leading mental health advocates?
Wayne will be running this session – not to overload you with mental health statistics – but to share his story and have a conversation around the importance of having a healthy mind.
Hopefully you’ll walk away knowing what you can be doing to not only look after your own mental health, but also how to have conversations with those around you.
It’s a free event, and there will be a bite to eat. Spaces are limited, so you must RSVP here .
Date: Tuesday, 30 March
Time: 7:00 – 9:00pm
Location: Radcliffes in Echuca
Having a mentally healthy Fonterra family is important to us – and when we talk about our Fonterra family, it’s not just the people within our business, it’s also our famers, their families, and our communities.
We look forward to seeing you there!
